Abstract

Slum settlements are one of the problems faced and felt in many cities in Indonesia. One of the programs published by the Indonesian government is the KOTAKU program which was created to improve the quality of slum settlements at the national level. Tangerang City and South and Tangerang City and South sub-districts are among the sub-districts in Indonesia that have received the KOTAKU program. The research was carried out through qualitative method analysis whose results were presented in the form of descriptive data. The results showed that the implementation of the KOTAKU program in the Kota Tangerang and South Tangerang areas was well communicated in the communication dimension through reflection on development planning, meetings between implementers and information. In terms of resources, the capacity of good implementers is strengthened by training and supporting infrastructure that facilitate program and budget implementation through government subsidies (BPM) and selfhelp. In the attitude or attitude dimension of the client lies responsibility, which enters itself through work contracts (SPK), which leads to transparency starting with community assistance (BPM) and accountability through accountability forms (LPJ) and there is an institutional audit of Joint Business Entities (BKM). and regarding the standard operating system bureaucratic structure dimensions (SOP) for quarterly work and the division of labor between program sponsors exists.
