Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through semi structured interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, and documentation of teaching modules and student works. Data analysis involved reduction, narrative presentation, triangulation, and member checking. Findings indicate that songs when carefully selected and adapted—function effectively as literary materials: they enhance student motivation and engagement, improve vocabulary retention and pronunciation comprehension, and develop students’ abilities to analyze literary elements (e.g., metaphor and theme). Teachers’ song selection criteria include language level appropriateness, richness of literary content/theme, suitable duration, and cultural alignment. Major challenges include varied student musical preferences, limited audio equipment, and restricted instructional time. The study recommends teacher training, provision of audio resources, and integration of song based activities into the curriculum to maximize pedagogical benefits. The results are expected to inform teachers, curriculum developers, and future researchers in advancing song based language and literature teaching practices.
Reny Yuanita Sari, Darni, Urip Zaenal Fanani Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/multilingual/article/view/1387 Mon, 26 Jan 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PENERAPAN METODE TOPSIS PADA SISTEM PENERIMAAN CALON PEGAWAI PT LIZZIE PARRA KREASI https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/multilingual/article/view/1397
The recruitment of new employees is a crucial process in ensuring that organizations obtain human resources that meet their operational needs. PT Lizzie Parra Kreasi Jakarta Selatan faces challenges in its recruitment process due to subjective assessments and the absence of a standardized decision-making system. This study aims to implement the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method in a decision support system for employee recruitment to improve objectivity, consistency, and accuracy in candidate selection. The evaluation criteria used in this study include work experience, education, age, test results, and attitude, each weighted according to its level of importance. The TOPSIS method is applied through decision matrix normalization, weighted normalization, determination of positive and negative ideal solutions, and calculation of preference values. The results show that the system is able to generate an objective ranking of candidates based on preference values, with the highest-ranked candidate recommended for acceptance. The implementation of the TOPSIS-based decision support system is expected to assist the human resources department in making accurate, consistent, and accountable recruitment decisions.
Khoirunnisa Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/multilingual/article/view/1397 Fri, 30 Jan 2026 00:00:00 +0000 SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN MOBIL BEKAS MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING (SAW) https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/multilingual/article/view/1400
Purchasing a used car is a complex decision because it involves various criteria such as price, year of manufacture, vehicle condition, mileage, and fuel consumption. Within the Indonesia Constitutional System, the authority to review the constitutionality of laws is vested in the Mahkamah Konstitusi as the guardian of the constitution. However, the practice of judicial review often gives rise to debate when the court not only assesses the constitutionality of legal norms but also formulates new interpretations that effectively lead to the creation of legal norms. This controversy is evidence in Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 90/PUU-XXI/2023 as open legal policy which introduced a new interpretation of the age requirement for Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates as regulated in article 169 letter (q) of Undang Undang Nomor 7 of 2017. The decision has sparked widespread debate because it allows individuals under the age of forty to run for Vice President, provided that they have previously held an elected public office. The controversy intensified due to allegations of the conflict of interest and dynasticity politism, involving the Chief Justice Anwar Usman as the family member of the newest Vice President who won in the 2024 election. This phenomenon raises fundamental questions regarding the limits of constitutional judges authority in interpreting Legal Norms as well as the potential misuse of Judicial Discretion in the practice of judicial.
Wilma Silalahi, Waty Go Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/multilingual/article/view/1430 Thu, 02 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0000 IMPLIKASI KONSTITUSIONAL PUTUSAN MK NOMOR 105/PUU-XXII/2024 TENTANG UNDANG-UNDANG INFORMASI DAN TRANSAKSI ELEKTRONIK https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/multilingual/article/view/1434
The evolution of the digital space has raised issues of ambiguity in the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, which has the potential to restrict freedom of expression. This study analyzes the ratio decidendi and legal implications of Constitutional Court Decision No. 105/PUU-XXII/2024 using a normative legal methodology. The results show that the Court applied a limiting interpretation based on the principles of legality, necessity, and proportionality, ensuring that the norm remains constitutional as long as it is interpreted strictly. Consequently, law enforcement shifts toward a proportional and due process-based approach, while strengthening the protection of freedom of expression. Mediation, as a mandatory stage in civil proceedings in Indonesia, is intended to provide a faster, more efficient, and mutually beneficial dispute resolution mechanism compared to litigation. However, its practical effectiveness often varies depending on several factors, including the competence of the mediator, the willingness of the parties, and the complexity of the dispute. This research employs a normative juridical method supported by a case study approach, analyzing legal provisions and court decisions related to mediation practices. The findings indicate that while the mediator plays a crucial role in facilitating communication and encouraging settlement between disputing parties, the success of mediation is not solely determined by the mediator’s performance. Instead, it is significantly influenced by the good faith of the parties and their commitment to reaching an agreement. Furthermore, the study reveals that in the examined case, mediation did not achieve a settlement, reflecting ongoing challenges in the implementation of court-annexed mediation. These challenges highlight the need for improving mediator capacity, strengthening procedural enforcement, and fostering a more cooperative legal culture among litigants. Therefore, enhancing the effectiveness of mediation requires not only institutional support but also active participation and good faith from all parties involved.
Zona Zariah, Nabila Maharani, Moody Rizqy Syailendra P Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/multilingual/article/view/1442 Sun, 19 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0000 “PESTA BABI” DAN DEFORESTASI HUTAN ADAT PAPUA: ANALISIS YURIDIS PERLINDUNGAN HAK ULAYAT MASYARAKAT ADAT DAN PERTANGGUNGJAWABAN PEMERINTAH INDONESIA https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/multilingual/article/view/1496
This study examines deforestation in Papua’s customary forests as a legal issue directly related to the protection of indigenous customary land rights and the legal responsibility of the Indonesian government. The issue gained wider public attention following the viral documentary “Pesta Babi”, which portrays the struggle of indigenous communities in South Papua to defend their ancestral lands from large scale National Strategic Project , Corporate interests and land based industrial expansion. The documentary shows that indigenous Papuans often become victims on their own ancestral lands, especially when forests, seas, and customary territories which form the basis of their identity, are treated merely as objects of development. This research uses a normative -empirical legal method through statutory, case, conceptual and comparative legal approaches. The analysis is conducted qualitatively to examine legal violations concerning customary land rights, environmental rights, cultural rights and indigenous participation rights. The study finds that deforestation in Papua’s customary forests doesn’t only cause ecological damage but also leads to the loss of living space, weakening of local economies, the destruction of local cultural identity and the decline of indigenous communities' trust in the state. Therefore, the government has a legal obligation to prevent , stop, evaluate and restore the destruction of customary forests under Pancasila, UUD 1945 Constitution, The Forestry Law, The Environmental Protection and Management Law, The Basic Agrarian Law, The Law on Prevention and Eradication of Forest Destruction, The Job Creation Law (UU Cipta Kerja) , Constitutional Court Decision Number or Putusan MK No.35/PUU-X/2012
Wilma Silalahi, Waty Go Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/multilingual/article/view/1496 Thu, 28 May 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PENINGKATAN SELF ESTEEM DAN SELF CONFIDENCE PARA REMAJA AWAL DI RPTRA X https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/multilingual/article/view/1500
Early Adolescence is an important developmental stage in the formation of self-esteem and self-confidence. With various backgrounds, many adolescents face psychological challenges, including low self-esteem and self-confidence caused by social environments, family factors, and lack of emotional support. Based on the results of observations, interviews, and pre-tests conducted at RPTRA X, it was found that several adolescents showed low levels of self-confidence in interacting and expressing themselves within social environments. Therefore, this humanitarian project aimed to improve self-esteem and self-confidence among early adolescents through psychoeducational approaches and interactive activities that encourage self-confidence and self-expression. The methods used in this program included observation pre-test and post-test based on Rosenberg’s theory, as well as the implementation of psychoeducational materials regarding self-esteem and self-confidence, interactive discussions, group games, and simple presentation activities. The program was conducted for approximately three months with regular weekly visits. The results of the program showed positive changes among the adolescents, such as increased confidence in speaking, expressing opinions, and interacting with peers. The adolescent participants also appeared more active, confident, and enthusiastic throughout the activities. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the psychoeducational program and interactive activities were able to help improve self-esteem and self-confidence among early adolescents at RPTRA. Data collection was conducted using the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) to measure emotional regulation, while the Aggression Scale (AS) was used to measure aggression levels. The results indicate a strong negative relationship between emotional regulation and aggression in children. Specifically, the pre-test data yielded a Spearman correlation of -0.722, while the post-test yielded a Pearson correlation of -0.463. Descriptive statistical results indicate an improvement in emotional regulation skills following the intervention, marked by an increase in the mean score from 26.26 to 42.00. Additionally, aggression levels decreased significantly, with the mean score dropping from 20.43 to 8.83. This indicates that emotional regulation skills play a crucial role in reducing aggressive behavior in elementary school-aged children. This study aims to examine the integration of digital preservation and digital library services within the University of Panca Budi's Library Information System. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. Research results show that preservation of the collection is done through physical restoration of items, digitizing documents into PDF format, and storing files using Google Drive, which is a cloud-based service. Digital services are provided through the Digilib system, which supports the search for collections and member services. However, digital preservation and digital services are still operating separately. The digitized collection is not yet connected to the Digilib system, the metadata for the collection isn't being managed very well, and some service features like borrowing history, reservations, and digital notifications aren't fully available. Research findings show that the main need for developing UNPAB's library information system is to integrate digital preservation and digital library services into one unified ecosystem. Undetected temperature increases can affect the performance and reliability of server hardware. Meanwhile, manual monitoring has limitations because it cannot be performed continuously and does not allow administrators to obtain server room condition information when they are in different locations. This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system for detecting excessive temperature in a server room with real-time notification support. The system uses a NodeMCU ESP8266 as the microcontroller, a DHT11 sensor to measure temperature and humidity, and a relay module to control the cooling fan. A passive buzzer is used as a local alarm when the temperature exceeds the 30°C threshold, while the Telegram platform is used to send temperature condition notifications to users via the internet. The implementation results show that the system is able to automatically monitor temperature and humidity and activate the cooling fan when the temperature reaches the predetermined condition. Testing also shows that temperature notifications can be delivered to users through Telegram in real time, enabling remote monitoring of the server room. The developed system can serve as a simple and affordable monitoring and early detection solution to help improve the operational security of the server room. The limitations of this study lie in the accuracy level of the DHT11 sensor and the system’s dependence on a stable internet connection.
Indra Riyana Rahadjeng, Muhammad Fahmi, Abdul Rahman Kadafi, Ibnu Rusdi, Fitri Latifah Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/multilingual/article/view/1593 Mon, 27 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000
