Amazon Rainforest is the biggest and richest rainforest in the world. Deforestation in Brazilian Amazon Rainforest has a very big impact for the whole world life, imclude the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest’s indigenous peoples life. Greenpeace as the world environment NGO handle this incident quickly. The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out the extent of Greenpeace's role in empowering the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest’s indigenous peoples in 2015-2020. Greenpeace's role can be seen through its function as an NGO, namely through its operational and advocacy functions. This study uses descriptive analysis method with data collection techniques, namely literature study. From the research conducted, it was found that the role of Greenpeace was quite significant in empowering the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest’s indigenous peoples. Viewed from its function as an operational NGO, Greenpeace provides a variety of tools that can support the lives of the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest’s indigenous peoples as well as practice it. Meanwhile, it can be seen from carrying out various functions as an advocacy NGO, Greenpeace demonstrations and distributing petitions addressed to the Brazilian Government. All of Greenpeace's roles have succeeded in helping the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest’s indigenous peoples in their natural life amidst the pressures of the Brazilian Government to support deforestation and reject the existence of the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest’s indigenous peoples.
