PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TENAGA KERJA INDONESIA DI MALAYSIA DITINJAU PERSPEKTIF BP3TKI PROVINSI KALIMANTAN BARAT

Abstract

This writing discusses legal protection for Indonesian workers (TKI) using Law Number 39 of 2004 concerning the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Workers (UU 39/2004) as a frame of reference, with a focus on the perspective of the Implementing Agency for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Workers Indonesia (BP3TKI) West Kalimantan Province. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of legal protection provided to Indonesian workers by BP3TKI West Kalimantan and identify the challenges faced in its implementation and the efforts that can be taken. The research method used is a normative juridical method which studies legislation relating to employment. The results of this paper show that BP3PKI is working to protect Indonesian workers so that effective legal protection can be achieved
