INOVASI SEKTOR PUBLIK PADA PROGRAM TABLET TAMBAH DARAH (TTD) DI PUSKESMAS PASAR KEMIS KABUPATEN TANGERANG

Abstract

Public sector innovation in health services is one of the government's strategies in providing maximum service to the community. Public sector innovations must have both economic and social benefits for the people who are users of these services. One form of service is the provision of Blood Supplementary Tablets (Tablet Tambah Darah) by the Tangerang District Health Office to prevent and treat anemia. This study aims to determine public sector innovation in TTD program at the Pasar Kemis Health Center. This study uses the theory of Rogers (2003) and uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data collected using instruments in the form of; observation and documentation as well as developed by interviewing informants. In the results of the study it was found that in the implementation of the Iron Tablets program it was still not routinely carried out in schools and also this Iron Tablets had side effects on some female students who consumed them. The positive impact of the TTD program has not been seen significantly because it takes a long time and it is hoped that with the implementation of this TTD program innovation, the Tangerang district health office and health center can carry out socialization more routinely and be more assertive towards students to drink TTD so that the health of mothers and children future children will be better.
