Abstract

All over the world, the problem of narcotics abuse is almost all a problem for nations. Narcotics abuse can certainly result in physical damage, mental health, emotions and attitudes in society. Drug abuse has serious social, health and safety consequences in many parts of the world. Therefore, research and efforts to combat narcotics have become the main focus of experts and the government. This journal presents an overview of the problem of narcotics, including the most commonly used types of narcotics, methods of use, and their impact on individuals and society. The negative impacts of narcotics include physical and mental health problems, increased risk of accidents and violence, damage to social relationships, and decreased productivity. The approach to dealing with narcotics includes prevention, law enforcement, rehabilitation and treatment. Prevention programs aim to increase public awareness about the dangers of narcotics, while law enforcement aims to stop the illegal distribution of narcotics. Rehabilitation and treatment provide a holistic approach in helping individuals who have been ensnared in drug abuse, both through physical recovery and psychosocial support.
