Abstract

A portfolio assessment is a continuous assessment method that uses different collections of data or documentation of one's work that were collected over the course of the learning process and arranged and bundled together in a portfolio. With the aid of precise data and documentation, the portfolio evaluation aims to inform parents about their children's overall development. Some educational scholars view this test as an alternative test in the present day that is significantly more trustworthy and valid than traditional tests. The three domains of child psychological development—cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor—are examined in the portfolio evaluation.
