The purpose of this study is to an”lyze’the effect of emergency department response time, healthcare worker competence, SOP compliance, and facility availability on trauma patient referral rates at RS Umum Negara. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 100 trauma patients obtained from medical records and questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using logistic regression with SPSS, including partial testing (Wald test) and simultaneous testing (Omnibus Test). The results show that all independent variables have a negative and significant effect on trauma patient referral rates, including response time (Wald = 15.89; Sig. = 0.000), healthcare worker competence (Wald = 10.92; Sig. = 0.001), SOP compliance (Wald = 7.21; Sig. = 0.007), and facility availability (Wald = 7.83; Sig. = 0.005). Simultaneously, all variables significantly influence referral rates (Chi-Square = 89.452; Sig. = 0.000). Response time is identified as the most dominant factor. The conclusion indicates that improving the overall quality of emergency department services can reduce trauma patient referrals. However, referrals remain necessary in certain conditions, and referrals caused by service limitations indicate structural issues that require improvement.
