Abstract

The recruitment of new employees is a crucial process in ensuring that organizations obtain human resources that meet their operational needs. PT Lizzie Parra Kreasi Jakarta Selatan faces challenges in its recruitment process due to subjective assessments and the absence of a standardized decision-making system. This study aims to implement the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method in a decision support system for employee recruitment to improve objectivity, consistency, and accuracy in candidate selection. The evaluation criteria used in this study include work experience, education, age, test results, and attitude, each weighted according to its level of importance. The TOPSIS method is applied through decision matrix normalization, weighted normalization, determination of positive and negative ideal solutions, and calculation of preference values. The results show that the system is able to generate an objective ranking of candidates based on preference values, with the highest-ranked candidate recommended for acceptance. The implementation of the TOPSIS-based decision support system is expected to assist the human resources department in making accurate, consistent, and accountable recruitment decisions.
