Abstract

The creative industry sector in Indonesia has shown significant development in contributing to national economic growth. This also opens up great opportunities for artists, particularly in the creative industry sector, to compete and innovate both nationally and internationally. However, such dynamics also give rise to various issues related to the protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), especially in dealing with copyright infringement, piracy, and even disputes over the ownership of works. Indonesia should therefore provide strong legal protection for goods or works that are commercialized within the creative industry. This legal protection is intended to ensure that creators feel secure in commercializing their works in the creative sector. Consequently, the state not only guarantees a sense of security for creators but also provides benefits and welfare through the protection of intellectual property.
