General Election is an important instrument in the Constitutional Democracy system in Indonesia which functions as a means of Legitimate change of power while providing equal opportunities for every citizen to be able to hold public office in accordance with Law number 17 of 2017 concerning General Elections. Indonesia implements general elections for Legislatives, President and Vice President candidates simultaneously with the aim of increasing efficiency and strengthening political legitimacy by upholding the principles of direct, general, free, secret, honest and fair elections. However, in its implementation there have been numerous cases of Voter misuse, often allocated to political party interests, leading to electoral disputes. Therefore, strengthening regulations transparency in implementation with large numbers of active people participating in monitoring the general election process are necessary to create elections with integrity and fairness.
