Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of work discipline and work stress on the work motivation of nurses in outpatient installations at Jakarta Hospital. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study amounted to 53 respondents. Sampling technique using saturated sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 53 respondents. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires. Hypothesis testing in this study uses Linear Regression analysis. The research subjects were Outpatient Installation Nurses at Jakarta Hospital. The results in this study indicate that: (1.) Work discipline has a positive and significant partial effect on the work motivation of nurses of 7.160 > 2.008 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. (2) Work stress has a negative and significant effect on nurses' work motivation of -2.149 < -2.008 with a significance level of 0.037 < 0.05. (3) Work discipline and work stress simultaneously have a significant effect on the work motivation of nurses of 26.126 > 3.178 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05.
