ZAKAT PROFESI SEBAGAI INSTRUMEN KEADILAN EKONOMI: ANALISIS USHUL FIQH TERHADAP DAMPAK SOSIAL DAN DISTRIBUSI KEKAYAAN

Abstract

Professional zakat represents a contemporary form of zakat imposed on income derived from skills and modern professions. This research aims to analyze the position of professional zakat from the perspective of ushul fiqh and its impact on economic justice and wealth distribution. The research method employs a qualitative approach with normative-juridical analysis through literature study and document analysis. The results show that professional zakat has a strong legal foundation in ushul fiqh through qiyas and maslahah approaches. The implementation of professional zakat proves effective in reducing economic inequality, improving wealth distribution, and strengthening social solidarity. This research recommends optimizing the professional zakat management system through more comprehensive regulation and sustainable community education.
