ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI HUKUM PERIKANAN BAGI NELAYAN YANG MENGGUNAKAN PUKAT HARIMAU

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of fisheries law for fishermen who use trawlers. Trawling is a fishing gear that is controversial because of the potential to damage aquatic ecosystems and threaten the sustainability of fishery resources. This study uses a legal analysis approach and literature study to understand policies and regulations related to the use of trawlers, fishermen's understanding and awareness of these regulations, the effectiveness of supervision and law enforcement, as well as the sustainable alternatives that have been provided for fishermen. The results of this study can provide useful insights for policy makers in improving the implementation of fisheries law and maintaining the sustainability of fisheries resources.
