THE INFLUENCE OF INTELLECTUAL AND SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE ON MIDWIVES' PERFORMANCE
(CASE STUDY IN PUBLIC HOSPITAL SINGAPARNA TASIKMALAYA)

A good performance of midwife is certainly an expectation of all hospitals because at last their performance is expected to increase the hospital’s performance. This study is aimed to examine the impact of intelligence and spiritual quotient to midwifes performance of Singaparna, Tasikmalaya Regency Regional Public Hospital. Many study before, said that those quotients have a positive and significant influence towards employees performance. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods, which 89 midwife as a samples that chosen by inclusion and exclusion criteria and has been analyzed with Multiple Linear Regression method using SPSS 23 statistical software. The result of this study showed that intelligence and spiritual quotient are partially and simultaneously (Ftest = 97,208 > 3,103) significant influence towards midwifes performance (0,000 < 0,05). The implication of those quotient presents an important role in developing their performance either individually or simultaneously which in the end will increase the hospital’s performance
