Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation on employee work performance: gender as a control variable. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive methods, namely to analyze studies of extrinsic motivation, intrinsic motivation, gender and employee performance. So the population taken is employees at PT. PSU (Pangan Sari Utama) Kec. Hu'u District. Prov. Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara, with 100 employees. The samples to be taken are employees at PT. PSU (Pangan Sari Utama) Kec. Hu'u District. Prov. Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara, totaling 58 respondents. Based on the results of research conducted at PT. Pangan Sari Utama Kec. Hu'u District. Dompu Province, West Nusa Tenggara. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that extrinsic motivation has an influence on intrinsic motivation which shows a significant value of 0.005, which means <0.05. Based on table 4.20, it can be concluded that Intrinsic Motivation has an influence on work performance which shows a significant value of 0.009, which means <0.05. Based on table 4.21, it can be concluded that extrinsic motivation has no influence on work performance, which shows a significant value of 0.883, which means > 0.05.
