Abstract

One of the focuses of productive zakat is supporting the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as a way to improve the economic welfare of society in general. Productive zakat involves using zakat funds to help build the community's economy, for example by providing business capital to small and medium businesses (MSMEs), providing skills training to those in need, or supporting infrastructure projects that can improve general welfare. This principle is in accordance with Islamic values which emphasize the importance of fair treatment of all parties involved in trade transactions. The aim of this research is to explain Productive Zakat from an Islamic Legal Perspective.. The research method used is qualitative research. The research sources used in this writing are using the library method by searching various literature. The results of this research show that productive Zakat, in accordance with Islamic teachings, can be an instrument for exploring the economic potential of Muslims by providing business capital, training or other support to those in need. By utilizing zakat funds for productive investment, all members of society can feel the benefits in the form of increasing collective prosperity, in line with the principles of justice and solidarity in Islam. How productive zakat funds can be used to support the economic empowerment of Muslims, especially in the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) or economic sectors. requiring.
