ANALISIS POLA PENDAPATAN DAN PENGELOLAAN RUMPUT LAUT DI SUMBAWA BARAT, INDONESIA

Abstract

The background of this research is to find out the economic potential in the village of Kertasari with its seaweed cultivation. Seaweed cultivation is a promising business in Indonesia. Because as we know that Indonesia is a country that has a pretty good sea quality. Most of the livelihoods of the Indonesian people are farmers, whether it's rice, vegetable, fruit or seaweed farmers as I want to discuss now. The increasing number of seaweed farmers in Kertasari village makes me curious about how much income they get and how the production is managed. This study aims to determine the financial performance of income from seaweed farming which is located in Kertasari Village, Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency, not only the income but also examines how the production management process works and aims to find out how the seaweed planting process is from the beginning of planting to the harvest process and as well as the distribution process. This research itself is a qualitative descriptive study, and the data obtained in this study are generally subjective. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation methods, interview methods and documentation methods. So the data that we will get is the result of our interviews with the seaweed farming business actors in Kertasari village.
