PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI WISATA ALAM KEDUNG MINTEN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN EKONOMI DESA NGLURUP

Abstract

Nature tourism is the utilization of the potential of existing resources for recreation. Community empowerment is an effort made to improve the ability and quality of the community in order to improve their own economy. This study aims to determine the programs, obstacles and solutions, as well as the impact of community empowerment in the Kedung Minten nature tourism in improving the economic welfare of Nglurup Village. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that there are two programs carried out in community empowerment in Kedung Minten natural tourism, namely, providing venture capital assistance from BumDes to tourism and improving facilities and infrastructure. Furthermore, the obstacles faced in this empowerment are three perceived obstacles, namely limited business capital owned, limited managerial capabilities, and limited existing human resources. Then the impact obtained from the existence of community empowerment is carried out, namely increasing the quality of human resources, increasing income, employment, and increasing awareness among people.
