This study aims to measure the direction and magnitude of the influence of Inflation (INF), GDP agricultural sector (PDRBSP), GDP industrial sector (PDRBSI), GDP service sector (PDRBSJ), and District Minimum Wage (UMK) on Absorption of Labor (PTK) in Central Java. This type of research data is secondary data in the form of time series data with the object of research on labor absorption in Central Java in 2002- 2020 and data obtained from the Central Java Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The analysis method used in this research is Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression analysis. The results showed that the District Minimum Wage (UMK) had a positive effect on Absorption of Labor (PTK), while Inflation (INF), GDP agricultural sector (PDRBSP), GDP industrial sector (PDRBSI) and GDP service sector (PDRBSJ) had no effect on Absorption of Labor (PTK). Inflation that occurs in the Central Java region is still controlled so that it does not affect labor absorption. The GDP of the industrial sector has no effect on employment due to the lack of available capital and the lack of utilization of existing resources in the Central Java region. The GDP agricultural sector has no effect on labor absorption due to the large number of people who prefer to work in cities. GDP service sector has no effect on absorption of labor due to technological developments that facilitate service activities. The district minimum wage affects absorption of labor because a large wage attracts people to work.
