PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DALAM PEMBUATAN RENCANA PENANGGULANGAN BENCANA PARTISIPATIF MELALUI PROJECT DISASTER RISK RESILIENCE DI DESA LOMPIO KECAMATAN SIRENJA KABUPATEN DONGGALA

Abstract

Lompio Village, is one of the villages in Sirenja District, Donggala Regency and was the epicenter of the 2018 earthquake. When the earthquake occurred, the people in Lompio Village did not know anything about disaster management, so the people were still confused and panicked about the situation. Community empowerment activities carried out focus on these problems. The purpose of Community Empowerment is to provide knowledge in anticipating threats and the best way to minimize the impact of disasters on the community in village disaster management. The implementation method is carried out through observation, interviews, training and evaluation. As for the results achieved from this implementation, namely the community has made, understood and implemented the results of the Participatory Disaster Management Plan. Such as mapping disaster-prone areas and dealing with them, for example planting mangroves, installing evacuation signs and information boards, as part of educating the community regarding disaster mitigation.
