Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Economic Growth, Public Consumption, Number of Motorized Vehicles, Number of Hotels and Restaurants, Number of Tourists and Population Density on Regional Original Income (PAD) in Regencies/Cities in East Java Province for the 2012-2021 period. The data used in this study is secondary data taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). This study uses the Panel Least Square method with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) selected. The results showed that the variables of economic growth, public consumption, number of hotels and restaurants, and population density had a positive and significant effect on local ownsource income, while the number of motorized vehicles and the number of tourists was not significant on regional own-source income (PAD) in districts/cities in Java Province. East. The government needs to intensify supervision of taxpayers for residents who have entered productive age so as to be able to increase local revenue (PAD).
