Abstract

This study aims to measure the direction of the magnitude of the influence of rising world oil prices, movements in the rupiah exchange rate, and inflation on the value of Indonesia's trade imports. The method used is a quantitative method using econometric model estimation in the form of a classic assumption test which includes: multicollinearity test (VIF), residual normality test (Jarque-Bera), Autocorrelation Test (Breusch-Godfrey), Heteroscedasticity Test (White), Linearity Test (Ramsey reset). The data used is secondary data in the form of time series data for 2019 - 2022 where the data is monthly data, so that in total it is 48 months obtained from data reports from the Central Bureau of Statistics and reports from Bank Indonesia. The variables used are the dependent variable in the form of import values and the independent variables in the form of world oil prices, exchange rates (exchange rates), and inflation. The results of this study indicate that world oil prices have no effect on the value of Indonesia's imports during the period January 2019 December 2022, the exchange rate has no effect on the value of Indonesia's imports during the period January 2019 December 2022, inflation has a positive effect on the value of Indonesia's imports during the period January 2019 December 2022
