Abstract

The case for fluctuations in the Bali Province Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) in 2019 was 81.33, a decrease of 0.99 points compared to the IDI figure in 2018 which was recorded at 82.37. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of the Province of Bali, of the three aspects that make up the IDI, the Civil Liberties Aspect is the only aspect that has decreased, namely by 4.12 points (from 94.72 in 2018 to 90.60 in 2019) . Meanwhile, the aspect of political rights has increased by 0.30 points (from 68.08 in 2018 to 68.38 in 2019) and the aspect of democratic institutions has also increased by 0.87 points (from 89.55 in 2018 to 90 .42 in 2019). This condition is able to provide a resolution for the IDI and planning for the 2024 elections in the province of Bali. This study aims to determine the role of the Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Provinsi Bali in controlling IDI dynamics for planning the 2024 Election of the Province of Bali. This research uses descriptive qualitative method.
