KONFLIK SOSIAL PASCA PEMILIHAN KEPALA DESA DI DESA TAWA KECAMATAN BACAN TIMUR TENGAH KABUPATEN HALMAHERA SELATAN

Abstract

The existence of a social conflict in the election of the village head in Tawa Village destroyed the social structure of the community. This study aims to analyze (1) the forms of social conflict in the election of village heads in Tawa Village, and (2) the implications of this in the Tawa Village community. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach with data collection techniques of in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Determination of informants using purposive sampling technique, with data sources through primary and secondary data, as well as data analysis techniques used are qualitative analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, research procedures and drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that there was a form of social conflict between newcomers and incumbents prior to the election of the Tawa village head which then continued to the post village head election stage which then confronted Lonli Loleo and Michael Hoga's supporters and had sociological implications for the social order of the Tawa Village community with the breakdown of ties dignity and religious behavior.
