DAMPAK PERNIKAHAN USIA MUDA PADA KEHARMONISAN RUMAH TANGGA (STUDI KASUS DESA BOLAROMANG KECAMATAN TOMBOLOPAO KABUPATEN GOWA)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the impact of young marriage on household harmony in the village. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive and phenomenological approach. The data sources are primary and secondary data sources. Furthermore, the data collection method used is observation, interviews and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through four stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, technical comparison analysis and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the impact of child marriage on household harmony consists of positive and negative impacts, the positive impact is in the form of improving friendships and improving the economy, while the negative impact tends to be disputes that lead to divorce. The implications of this research are: It is hoped that the attention of the government, in this case the DP3A of Gowa Regency, will provide direction to women or children who engage in child marriage, and the efforts of the village government to develop strengthening sources of protection, so that they have the mind not to marry at a young age in improving patterns a better life. It is hoped that teenagers will prioritize education and be wiser in making decisions.
