Abstract

This study aims to explore the level of employee Turnover Intention, which is the tendency to leave the current position to seek other job opportunities. High turnover rates can cause internal disruption and high costs related to recruitment, selection, and training of new staff. This study will add a mentoring effect variable to measure how much employee turnover intention is related to career adaptability and proactive personality. The focus is to investigate the relationship between Proactive Personality, Mentoring Function, Career Adaptability, and Turnover Intention. The aim is to investigate the factors that influence employee Turnover Intention, contribute to human resource management, and improve understanding of employee turnover intention. This study will be conducted in DKI Jakarta using an online survey and questionnaire method through the Google Form application. The sample consists of IT Division employees at an online loan application technology company who have only worked for less than 6 months. Data collection was carried out for three months, from December 2023 to February 2023, using a purposive sampling method. After conducting the study, it was found that proactive personality and mentoring function had an effect on a person's level of career adaptability and turnover intention..
