PEMBERDAYAAN GURU MELALUI PGRI SEBAGAI KELOMPOK KEPENTINGAN (INTEREST GROUP) DI KOTA SOLOK

Abstract

PGRI is the largest teacher organization in Indonesia which can accommodate the aspirations of its interests. Through PGRI teachers can be empowered to improve the quality of education. In empowering teachers, PGRI certainly encounters various obstacles. This obstacle is of course also felt by PGRI Solok City. PGRI as part of interest groups, namely institutional groups, formal groups that are in or work closely with the government can work together with the education office in resolving these obstacles. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. It is hoped that in the future PGRI Solok City can continue to communicate with the government in fully supporting teacher empowerment activities.
