Abstract

This study aims to examine the moderating role of work motivation on the effect of performance allowances and organizational commitment on employee performance. This research approach is a positivist paradigm using causal associative. The data collected using the census method with 91 respondents were taken from all Polri members at SPN Belanting Polda West Nusa Tenggara. The data analysis technique uses PLS-SEM with Smart PLS software version 4. The results showed that performance benefits have a significant positive effect on employee performance and organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Furthermore, work motivation is able to moderate the effect of performance allowances on employee performance and work motivation is able to moderate the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance. This study also recommends strengthening or increasing performance allowances through the preparation of incentives based on task achievements, awards that increase self-confidence, and providing support for the development of members' abilities, so as to improve the performance of police officers at SPN Belanting, West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police.
