Abstract

Land deed is a legal document drawn up by a notary public that describes in full and clear the status of ownership, boundaries, privileges and burdens associated with a land. The making of the Land Deed must be carried out by a notary who has the legal authority to draw up official legal documents. The research method uses normative law. The results of this study are that notaries play an important role in examining and verifying documents related to land ownership. By carrying out a careful examination, the notary can identify potential problems or defects in documents, thereby reducing the risk of future disputes. In addition, the Notary is responsible for drafting the Land Deed which records clear and complete information regarding land ownership.
