This study analyzes students' learning motivation at SMA Global Prima National Plus School using purposive sampling technique. Among the 110 research subjects, comprising 45 males and 65 females, it was found that females exhibit higher learning motivation. Descriptive analysis indicates a higher empirical mean in the scores of female students' learning motivation, with 78.5% classified in the high learning motivation category, compared to 71.1% for male students. Classical assumption tests confirm normal distribution and variance homogeneity among groups of students' learning motivation. However, the results of the Independent Sample T-Test with a significance value of 0.645 suggest no significant difference in learning motivation between both genders. The study concludes that, while female students tend to have higher learning motivation, statistically, this difference is not significant. This research contributes to understanding students' learning motivation based on gender in the secondary education environment.
Haposan LumbantoruanGunawan Bahagia SiringoringoBil Farel PelawiTaufiq Syarif AkmalWinida Marpaung

https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/humanitas/article/view/1003

Indonesia is one of the countries that has the highest cases of drugs abuse in the world. The existence of a high level of abuse makes drugs users not escape the name relapse (or drug reuse). Drug reuse that violates the rule of law results in the perpetrator again dealing with the law or called a recidivist. A recidivist is someone who repeats criminal behavior. Previous research suggests that low self-efficacy makes individuals vulnerable to relapse. Self-control is also known to have a relationship with self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and self-control in drug recidivists in correctional institutions. This study used quantitative methods with non-probability sampling type using purposive sampling technique involving 298 participants aged 19 to 30 years. Research data were collected from taking the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) and Low Self-Control Scale (LSCS) questionnaires using a Likert scale of one to four. The results of the analysis showed a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and self-control (ρ(298) = 0.796, p < 0.001), which states that the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the recidivist self-control. The results of this study are in line with previous research conducted on rehabilitation patients in China. This research is expected to provide insight to the community regarding the positive relationship that self-efficacy and self-control have.
Putri Devi KurniawatiNaomi Soetikno
