Stres Kerja Ditinjau Dari Kecerdasan Emosional TNI-AD Bintara Tamtama Di Kota Medan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the connection between job stress and emotional intelligence in TNI-AD members in agency X. The study's hypothesis is that there is a detrimental association between job stress and emotional intelligence. The subjects were 150 TNI-AD members from using quantitative approaches, agency X collected data using a 50-item work intelligence measure and a 30 item work stress scale. The data were analyzed using the Rank Spearman Correlation correlation test with the aid of IBM SPSS Statistics 25, and the normality and linearity tests were employed as the assumption tests in this study. The findings of the data analysis conducted for this study show a connection between job stress and emotional intelligence in TNI-AD members in agency X with the Rank Spearman Correlation correlation coefficient of r = - 0.458 and in this study there are results showing that the contribution given by the job stress variable to emotional intelligence is 18.7%, the remaining 81.3% is affected by additional, unresearched elements.
