The nominal amount is determined by the bride's parents and can reach tens of millions, even hundreds of millions. Sundrang cannot be ignored, as it has become a tradition that must be carried out. This study examines the implementation of the Sundrang custom in weddings as part of a local tradition that remains preserved to this day as a symbol of respect and appreciation. From an Islamic legal perspective, the implementation of Sundrang is acceptable as long as it does not conflict with Islamic law, does not involve coercion, and does not alter the pillars and requirements for a valid marriage. This research is descriptive, conducted in the field using descriptive qualitative methods. The approach used is empirical, with data sources including primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that the Sundrang tradition in Pajenangger Village, Arjasa District, Sumenep Regency, involves the woman determining and negotiating the amount the groom must prepare for the bride. Given the high monetary burden placed on this tradition, it falls under the category of 'urf fasid', meaning its harmful effects outweigh its benefits.
2026-06-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/humaniora/article/view/1502 TRADISI SAWER PENGANTEN DALAM PERNIKAHAN ADAT SUNDA PERSPEKTIF HUKUM ISLAM: STUDI KASUS DI DESA SUKAMULNYA, KEC SUKAMKMUR, KAB BOGOR 2026-06-01T07:25:52+00:00 Siti Salma Muparihah salmamupp@gmail.com Ahmad Faozan salmamupp@gmail.com
This study The tradition of the bridal shower is one of a series of Sundanese traditional wedding ceremonies that is still preserved by the community to this day. Despite their crucial role in supporting educational services, honorary teachers often face various legal and employment uncertainties, including low wages, unclear employment status, limited social security coverage, and restricted access to career development opportunities. This study aims to analyze the problems and current status of legal protection for honorary teachers within the framework of Indonesian legislation. Using a normative juridical approach, the research examines relevant laws and regulations, including the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the Law on the National Education System, the Law on Teachers and Lecturers, the State Civil Apparatus Law, and related government regulations. The findings indicate that although the government has introduced several policies to improve the welfare and employment status of honorary teachers, legal protection remains fragmented and has not fully guaranteed their rights as education professionals. The transition toward the recruitment of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) represents a positive step; however, implementation challenges continue to leave many honorary teachers in a vulnerable position. Therefore, a more comprehensive and consistent legal framework is necessary to ensure legal certainty, fair remuneration, social protection, and equal professional opportunities for honorary teachers in Indonesia.
2026-06-08T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/humaniora/article/view/1512 EFEKTIVITAS MEKANISME LITIGASI KONSTITUSIONAL DALAM PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA KENEGARAAN DI INDONESIA: ANALISIS TERHADAP PENGUATAN PRINSIP NEGARA HUKUM DAN CHECKS AND BALANCES 2026-06-09T14:43:16+00:00 Muhamad Syiratal Al Haq Nurwahid muhamad.205240190@stu.untar.ac.id Keysha Rasyeendria Syahdah Irawan muhamad.205240190@stu.untar.ac.id Adrian Manlery muhamad.205240190@stu.untar.ac.id Raidah Hazirah muhamad.205240190@stu.untar.ac.id Mochamad Novel muhamad.205240190@stu.untar.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the construction of constitutional litigation mechanisms in resolving state institutional disputes in Indonesia and examine the effectiveness of constitutional adjudication institutions in realizing legal certainty and constitutional stability. This research employs a normative legal method using statutory and conceptual approaches through analysis of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, related legislation, and constitutional law doctrines. The findings indicate that constitutional litigation mechanisms in Indonesia represent the implementation of the rule of law principle as stipulated in Article 1 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution, which positions law as the primary instrument in limiting and controlling the exercise of state power. The existence of Constitutional Court of Indonesia as a constitutional judiciary institution holds a strategic role as the guardian of constitutional supremacy, the authoritative interpreter of constitutional norms, and the protector of the checks and balances system among state institutions. Advances in information technology have also expanded the methods of falsification, not only limited to physical documents but also electronic documents. This study aims to analyze the legal regulations related to the crime of document falsification based on Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP) and evaluate the effectiveness of these regulations in preventing document falsification in Indonesia. The method used in this study is normative legal research with a legislative approach and a conceptual approach. The legal materials analyzed include primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials that were evaluated qualitatively through a literature review. The research findings indicate that the new Criminal Code has regulated the crime of document falsification more comprehensively through Articles 391 to 400, including expanding the definition of letters to include electronic documents. This regulation is also supported by the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, which regulates document falsification in electronic format. Normatively, existing legal arrangements have created a strong legal basis for preventing and prosecuting document forgery. However, in practice, their effectiveness still faces various challenges, such as weak administrative oversight, low legal awareness among the public, limited ability of authorities to verify digital evidence, and technological advances that facilitate document forgery. Therefore, it is urgently needed to improve the document verification system, strengthen digital forensic capacity, and optimize law enforcement to increase the effectiveness of preventing document forgery crimes in Indonesia.
2026-06-08T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/humaniora/article/view/1519 PENGUATAN MEKANISME CHECKS AND BALANCES MELALUI LITIGASI KENEGARAAN DALAM SISTEM KETATANEGARAAN INDONESIA 2026-06-12T12:22:03+00:00 Mochamad Novel mnovel@fh.untar.ac.id Nur Anita Hayatina mnovel@fh.untar.ac.id Ester Lestari Manalu mnovel@fh.untar.ac.id Grace Christmas mnovel@fh.untar.ac.id Nelson mnovel@fh.untar.ac.id Gaffara mnovel@fh.untar.ac.id
The principle of checks and balances constitutes the fundamental pillar of a democratic constitutional system; yet its implementation in Indonesia continues to encounter structural and institutional challenges. The Ombudsman is an important external watchdog for public service delivery; they can accept complaints from the public, investigate them, and then make recommendations on suspected cases of maladministration. Analysed qualitatively by literature review, this study employs a normative juridical method with a statutory and conceptual approach. Even if the Ombudsman's recommendations are normatively required, the outcomes show that the reported agency lacks the necessary executive authority and a good system to punish noncompliance. This could lead to a lack of clarity in the law and make it harder to keep public service providers accountable for misconduct in administration. The debate arises from the state's need to utilize defense resources in addressing strategic national challenges while, at the same time, the principles of civilian supremacy and the rule of law require limitations on military involvement in civilian governmental affairs. This study examines the legal construction governing the appointment of active military personnel to civilian offices and assesses its constitutionality under the principles of civilian supremacy and democratic rule of law. This research employs a normative legal method using statutory, conceptual, and constitutional approaches. The findings indicate that Article 30 of the 1945 Constitution and Article 47 of Law Number 34 of 2004 concerning the Indonesian National Armed Forces establish clear limitations regarding the primary function of the military as a state defense institution. The appointment of active military personnel to civilian offices should be regarded as an exception, constitutionally justified only when directly related to defense and national security functions, supported by a clear legal basis, implemented proportionally, and subjected to effective civilian oversight. Legal reconstruction is therefore necessary through the strengthening of normative limitations, harmonization with the merit-based civil service system, and enhancement of democratic oversight mechanisms to maintain a balance between state interests and the principle of civilian supremacy within a democratic rule-of-law framework.
2026-06-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/humaniora/article/view/1527 KETIDAKAMANAN KERJA DAN KESEJAHTERAAN PSIKOLOGIS PADA PEKERJA NON-PERMANEN DI INDONESIA: RESILIENSI SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERATOR 2026-06-14T08:22:25+00:00 Poetri Shabrina Zasqia poetri.705230416@stu.untar.ac.id Aida Lutfi poetri.705230416@stu.untar.ac.id Najwa Aulia poetri.705230416@stu.untar.ac.id Dava Salsabila poetri.705230416@stu.untar.ac.id Jessica Chandhika poetri.705230416@stu.untar.ac.id
The increasing prevalence of non-permanent employment in Indonesia has raised concerns regarding workers' psychological well-being due to the uncertainty associated with job continuity. Job insecurity is recognized as a significant psychosocial stressor that may negatively affect employees' mental health, life satisfaction, and overall well-being. This study aims to examine the relationship between job insecurity and psychological well-being among non-permanent workers in Indonesia, while also investigating the moderating role of resilience. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from non-permanent employees across various industries in Indonesia through a structured survey. Job insecurity was measured as employees' perceptions of uncertainty regarding the stability and continuity of their employment, whereas psychological well-being was assessed through indicators of positive functioning and mental health. Resilience was conceptualized as an individual's capacity to adapt and recover from adversity. The findings are expected to demonstrate that higher levels of job insecurity are associated with lower levels of psychological well-being. Furthermore, resilience is anticipated to moderate this relationship by reducing the negative impact of job insecurity on workers' well-being. Individuals with higher resilience are expected to maintain better psychological well-being despite experiencing employment uncertainty. This study contributes to the literature on occupational health and organizational behavior by highlighting the importance of personal psychological resources in mitigating the adverse effects of precarious employment conditions. This research is motivated by increasing uncertainty in the workplace and the unique characteristics of Generation Z, which has become a dominant workforce group and is particularly vulnerable to perceived threats regarding job continuity. A quantitative approach with a correlational survey design was employed. The sample consisted of 120 respondents selected through purposive sampling based on the following criteria: aged 18–27 years and employed on a permanent basis. Data were collected using standardized instruments, namely the Job Insecurity Scale, the Survey of Perceived Organizational Support, and the Counterproductive Work Behavior Checklist. One factor that may influence this behavior is psychological safety, which refers to an individual's perception of feeling safe to express opinions, share ideas, ask questions, and take interpersonal risks in the workplace without fear of negative consequences. This study aimed to examine the role of psychological safety in quiet quitting among Generation Z employees. A quantitative approach with a correlational survey design was employed. Data were collected from Generation Z employees using the Psychological Safety Scale and the Quiet Quitting Scale (QQS). The data were analyzed using simple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics. The results indicated that psychological safety significantly predicted quiet quitting (t = -16.278, p < .001). The regression analysis showed a negative coefficient (B = -0.804), indicating that higher levels of psychological safety were associated with lower levels of quiet quitting. Furthermore, psychological safety explained 62.4% of the variance in quiet quitting (R² = 0.624). These findings suggest that creating a psychologically safe work environment may help reduce quiet quitting tendencies among Generation Z employees. Therefore, organizations are encouraged to foster open communication, trust, and supportive interpersonal relationships to enhance employee engagement and participation.
2026-06-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/humaniora/article/view/1545 HUBUNGAN ORGANIZATION-BASED SELF-ESTEEM (OBSE) DENGAN KINERJA KARYAWAN KONTRAK 2026-06-17T14:58:21+00:00 Marko Adiputra Wulur marko.705230055@stu.untar.ac.id Claurissa Valentina marko.705230055@stu.untar.ac.id Shafira Damayanti marko.705230055@stu.untar.ac.id Jessica Chandika marko.705230055@stu.untar.ac.id
Contract employees are a group of workers who are vulnerable to job uncertainty, limited career development, and low job security. These conditions can affect an individual's perception of their value and worth within the organization, or Organization-Based Self-Esteem (OBSE). This study aims to analyze the relationship between OBSE and the performance of contract employees. The study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory design and a cross-sectional method. The study sample consisted of 138 contract employees obtained through convenience sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using the Organization-Based Self-Esteem Scale developed by Pierce et al. (1989) and the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) developed by Koopmans et al. (2014). Data analysis was performed using the Pearson Correlation test and simple linear regression. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between OBSE and the performance of contract employees (r = 0.066; p = 0.445). The regression analysis also showed that OBSE only explained 0.4% of the variation in employee performance (R² = 0.004), while the remaining 99.6% was influenced by factors outside the study. This finding indicates that employees' level of self-esteem within the organization is not a primary determinant of contract employee performance. Contract employee performance is thought to be more influenced by other factors, such as work motivation, compensation, job satisfaction, work environment, leadership, and job insecurity. Therefore, OBSE was not a significant predictor of contract employee performance in this study.
2026-06-18T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/humaniora/article/view/1558 EFEKTIVITAS LITIGASI KENEGARAAN DALAM PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA ASET MILIK NEGARA DI INDONESIA 2026-06-25T16:43:37+00:00 Mochamad Novel Farrelhutabarat172@gmail.com Anita Dewi Angraeni Farrelhutabarat172@gmail.com Khairunnisa Farrelhutabarat172@gmail.com Farrel Hutabarat Farrelhutabarat172@gmail.com
Disputes over state assets in Indonesia are still common due to unlawful acquisition, third-party claims, and weak asset administration. Therefore, state litigation is used as a means of enforcing legal certainty. However, its effectiveness remains limited due to lengthy processes, high costs, and obstacles to executing decisions. Therefore, a study is needed to assess the effectiveness of litigation in optimally protecting and recovering state assets. This research is a normative legal study using a statute approach, a conceptual approach, and a case approach. The results indicate that state litigation plays a significant role in encouraging legal policy change while ensuring legal certainty through final and binding court decisions, although its effectiveness is still affected by the constraints of lengthy processes and high costs. Through the Constitutional Court, litigation also serves as a mechanism for testing the constitutionality of laws to ensure that all legal norms comply with the 1945 Constitution, thereby maintaining the principle of the rule of law in Indonesia.
2026-06-26T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 0 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/humaniora/article/view/1560 ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS NARASI BERDASARKAN PENGALAMAN PRIBADI SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR 2026-06-27T02:45:38+00:00 Ikhsan Wicaksono ferikurniawan2602@gmail.com Suparni ferikurniawan2602@gmail.com Yamaaluddiin ferikurniawan2602@gmail.com Feri Kurniawan ferikurniawan2602@gmail.com Endah Hartini ferikurniawan2602@gmail.com Puji Winaryu ferikurniawan2602@gmail.com Ainnuna Via Argi Putri ferikurniawan2602@gmail.com
This research is initiated by the low narrative text writing skills of elementary school students, specifically in constructing a coherent text structure and applying standardized spelling rules. This limitation is further intensified by the strong influence of daily spoken language and the lack of spelling automation in students' formal writing. The purpose of this study is to describe in depth the characteristics of narrative text structural competence and to map the level of compliance along with the types of spelling errors based on PUEBI/EYD in the written works of fifth-grade elementary school students. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative through a portfolio document analysis approach of students' personal experience essays. To provide a theoretical solution to the identified literacy barriers, the results of this diagnostic analysis are synthesized as a foundational basis for planning Classroom Action Research (CAR) utilizing an explicit genre-based learning model. The findings indicate a sharp polarization of ability based on the students' academic strata. While the introductory structure (orientation) and concluding structure (resolution) have been well-mastered by the majority of students (above 66%), significant obstacles occur in organizing the plot of the body (complication), which tends to be flat, monotonous, or even experience jumping plots. Meanwhile, in the linguistic aspect, students' mastery of spelling is still relatively low. The researcher identified three dominating mechanical errors: misuses of capital letters (42%), misplacements and absences of periods and commas (34%), and interferences of regional language (Javanese) vocabulary and affixation (24%). The discussion concludes that children's mechanical language competence develops at a slower pace than their ability to express narrative ideas, thereby requiring innovative, structured, and corrective instructional interventions.
2026-06-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 0 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/humaniora/article/view/1574 PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM BAGI KORBAN PELECEHAN SEKSUAL PADA ANAK DIBAWAH UMUR 2026-07-04T10:46:44+00:00 Fitrianingsih 2210631010177@student.unsika.ac.id
Child sexual abuse has received much attention. Early childhood education (PAUD) aims not only to develop cognitive and motor skills but also emotional and social skills as the foundation for a child's character and personality. In this context, the concept of "emotional safety" in the educational environment is crucial. An emotionally safe learning environment allows children to feel comfortable expressing themselves, sharing their feelings, trying new things, and feeling accepted for who they are without fear of judgment. In such situations, the application of a pedagogical approach that emphasizes emotional safety, referred to here as Emotional Safety Pedagogy, becomes highly relevant. By implementing this pedagogy, learning environments in kindergartens/Islamic elementary schools (TK/RA) such as RA Raudhatul Jannah can be designed in such a way that children feel psychologically safe: valued, listened to, and emotionally supported.
2026-07-20T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 0 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/humaniora/article/view/1591 PENDAMPINGAN MANAJEMEN DESAIN BOOTH BAGI PELAKU USAHA KREATIF PADA PAMERAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN 2026-07-26T15:35:09+00:00 Maitri Widya Mutiara maitrim@fsrd.untar.ac.id Kristine Hartanto maitrim@fsrd.untar.ac.id Maryani Tanaka maitrim@fsrd.untar.ac.id Kevin Wu maitrim@fsrd.untar.ac.id
This community service (PkM) activity aims to maximize the quality of the Entrepreneur Week exhibition at Universitas Tarumanagara through design management consultation provided to the event organizing team. The approach employs direct consultation in which design management principles are applied as a process framework across all activity stages: exhibition design planning, booth and visual element design development, and on-site implementation supervision. Design management is thus positioned not as taught content but as an embedded working process throughout the entire mentoring cycle from design needs identification and concept development to execution coordination and final quality control. The evaluation framework utilizes the Design Management Staircase model from the Danish Design Centre to assess shifts in the organizer's approach to the role of design in event management. Results indicate that all Design Management Staircase dimensions showed positive shifts, with the most significant improvement recorded in the exhibition layout planning dimension (+2 levels, from non-design to Process). Design quality evaluation through a questionnaire administered to 80 respondents yielded a mean score of 4.02 out of 5.0 (Good category). This activity produced a practical exhibition design management guidebook as a reference for future events.
2026-07-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 0
