Abstract

Guardianship of child custody after the death of parents, with a focus on the case of Gala Sky, the child of Vanessa Angel and Febri Ardiansyah. This research analyzes the legal provisions and processes for determining guardianship, as well as the impact of parental death on children. Using qualitative analysis methods and a documentary approach, the results show that determining a guardian involves submitting an application to the court and hearing to determine the appropriate guardian. Apart from that, the death of a parent has a big impact on a child's psychological development, so support from family and society is very necessary to help children get through this difficult time.
