Combat sports are sports that have a high risk of injury. The importance of first aid for injuries, especially sprains, is expected to reduce the risk of further injury. This research aims to increase the knowledge and skills of first aid for sprain injuries of karate athletes at the Jombang Karate Club using the demonstration method. This research method uses a quasi-experimental: without control group pre test and post test design with a total of 36 athletes in advanced technical stages and actively participating in championships. The instruments used were knowledge questionnaires and observations to determine skill levels. The intervention was carried out over 7 meetings and included a pretest and posttest. From the results of the data obtained, it can be seen that there are differences in the average scores of all athletes. The pretest knowledge obtained an average score of 56.81 and the posttest 103.06. The pretest skills aspect was found to be 22.75 and the posttest 38.81. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance of 0.00, which means it is smaller than a significance of 0.05, meaning there is a significant increase in first aid knowledge and skills for injuries after being given intervention using the demonstration method.
