Abstract

In recent years, Indonesia's health sector has been plagued by problems such as infectious and non-communicable diseases, nutrition, maternal and child health, mental health services and various other problems. Until now, health problems that are still a concern are nutritional problems. Based on the results of the 2021 Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) conducted by the Ministry of Health, the prevalence rate of stunting in Indonesia in 2021 was 24.4%. one of them is Lasiolat District. This sub-district is quite alarming with a drastic increase in the stunting problem, which in 2021 was only 9.1%, increasing to 25.9% in 2022. A regional policy strategy is needed to explain the national strategy. Namely the acceleration of stunting reduction which is regulated in Central Government Regulation No.72 and Belu Regent Regulation No.41 of 2022 concerning Acceleration of Stunting Reduction in Belu Regency. This study aims to describe and analyze how the implementation of stunting reduction policies in Belu Regency, especially Lasiolat District. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method using the theory of policy implementation proposed by Edwar III. The results showed that the implementation of the stunting reduction policy in Lasiolat District showed that there were still several obstacles in its implementation, the policy standards still referred to the policy regulations.
