Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the level of adoption and acceptance of the SIKEPON application by the community in the process of population administration in Sanggau Regency, the positive and negative impacts of SIKEPON implementation on the efficiency and effectiveness of public services provided by the Department of Population and Civil Registration, as well as the factors influencing the success or failure of SIKEPON implementation in Sanggau Regency, including technical, social, and policy aspects. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques employ qualitative analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the level of adoption and acceptance of the SIKEPON application in Sanggau Regency indicates a positive trend. The community shows enthusiasm in using the application due to its ease of access through smartphones and satisfaction with the services provided by the Department of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) Sanggau. The implementation of SIKEPON has had a significant positive impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of public services provided by Disdukcapil Sanggau Regency. The success of SIKEPON implementation in Sanggau Regency is influenced by various factors, including technical, social, and policy aspects. The readiness of technological infrastructure, intensive socialization, support from the local government, and clear regulations are key to success.
