Abstract

This research aims to compare the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Indonesia in terms of social and population, economic and trade, government and politics. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collected over the last ten years from reliable sources such as websites, journals, and books. This research shows that Indonesia has a culturally diverse society and varying labor wage levels across provinces. Meanwhile, the UAE has a strong tribal structure and focuses on economic prosperity. While the UAE recorded significant GDP growth, it also experienced a significant increase in inflation. Meanwhile, Indonesia shows economic stability despite the challenges of currency exchange rate fluctuations. Indonesia is a democratic country with a general election process and a clear division of power between the executive, legislative, and judiciary. In contrast, the UAE has a constitutional monarchy system emphasizing economic and security policies. This research contributes to clarifying the comparison in terms of social and population, economy and trade, and government and politics in the two countries.
