The 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Election (Pilpres) in Indonesia faced a number of disputes over the results which were then resolved by the Constitutional Court (MK). This dispute resolution process is crucial in maintaining the legitimacy and integrity of the democratic process in this country. The Constitutional Court, as the guardian of the constitution, has an important role in upholding justice and truth in every presidential election dispute. This article discusses the regulations for handling disputes over presidential election results by the MK, the challenges faced by the MK, and the process of resolving the 2024 Presidential PHPU dispute by the MK. The conclusion of the dispute resolution emphasizes the importance of the Constitutional Court's role as guardian of the constitution in ensuring justice, integrity and legitimacy of the democratic process in Indonesia. Suggestions for resolving disputes over presidential election results in the future are to strengthen the independence, transparency and accountability of the Constitutional Court, as well as increasing cooperation between the Constitutional Court, legislative institutions and the government to ensure that the implementation of the Constitutional Court's decisions is respected and implemented effectively.
