Abstract

Pancasila is basically a guideline for state and national life. Pancasila is also an ideology and philosophy of life which we as citizens must be able to understand and implement in our daily lives. In an increasingly advanced and modern era like today, Pancasila must not lose its value in our daily lives. It is hoped that the next generation will continue to maintain Pancasila values in life. Generation Z lives side by side with technological progress, which means this generation can more quickly get the latest information that is happening in the world and many other things that are part of technological progress. Of course, even though this modern era is greatly influenced by globalization, Pancasila values must still be applied and implemented in everyday life, especially for generation z. This is because we as Indonesian citizens should always make Pancasila the nation's ideology, and not be easily influenced by the impact of globalization. The author conducted this research motivated by the idea that the sense of nationalism that automatically exists in every Indonesian citizen towards our homeland through the ideology of Pancasila must not fade, especially for generation z who must be able to effectively implement the values contained in Pancasila. into everyday life. This is because Pancasila is also the identity of the Indonesian nation which is in line with the traditions and culture found in the life of Indonesian society.
