Abstract

Restorative Justice is an alternative solution for a new crime that has been accepted by Indonesia and its existence is starting to be applied to certain crimes. This concept works by involving all interested parties to seek a solution to the problem together regarding the consequences or losses arising from criminal acts committed by the perpetrator. This concept aims to be a form of recovery for victims of criminal acts, including compensation actions carried out by perpetrators of criminal acts through certain methods that have been agreed upon by the parties involved in a criminal act. In terms of handling related to the scope of Narcotics, the implementation procedures are carried out based on Guideline Number 18 of 2021 concerning Settlement of Handling of Criminal Cases of Narcotics Abuse Through Rehabilitation with a Restorative Justice Approach as Implementation of the Prosecutor's Dominus Litis Principle. The Prosecutor's Office has a big impact in its participation as a Law Enforcement Officer for members of the widespread crime of protecting Narcotics.
