KONSTRUKSI SOSIAL PAMALI PADA GENERASI MILENIAL: STUDI PADA MAHASISWA SOSIOLOGI FISIP UNIVERSITAS HASANUDDIN

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the social construction of pamali is in the millennial generation, especially among Unhas Social and Social Sciences students. Apart from that, this research focuses on the values in the pamali which influence the behavior or actions of this pamali. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach (describing, summarizing various conditions, situations or phenomena of social reality). Determination of informants in this study followed a purposive procedure. The research informants are the millennial generation aged between 22 and 35 years. Researchers collected data by observing first, after that conducting interviews with informants, after that taking some documentation in the field. This research is qualitative research, data analysis is carried out when you first go to the research location after all the data obtained from the field has been collected, then data processing is carried out by reducing the data. The results of this research show that pamali as a social construction is related to reality, in which there is a process of action and interaction between humans that creates the reality that occurs in society. Pamali has been constructed since the time of our ancestors and is an ancestral heritage for most people, therefore pamali has become a habit.
