BAGAIMANA KETERLAKSANAAN HUKUM WARIS DALAM HUKUM ADAT BATAK YANG ADA DI INDONESIA

Abstract

Customary law is a law that originates from rules that have been written and implemented by the local community. In this case, customary law can be divided into several parts, such as inheritance law and marriage law. In this article, the aim is to find out what inheritance law is in Batak traditional law. The author uses a qualitative method where in writing this article it comes from data in the form of formative studies as well as journals and dissertations and even research results that are relevant to the title of this article. The research results show that inheritance law in Batak traditional law uses a patrilineal system. Where in this system is based on male lineage. For Batak residents who say that the guidelines for making this choice will be based on Batak customary law in the local area.
