SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN HANDPHONE DENGAN METODE ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP)

Abstract

The rapid development of mobile phone technology has resulted in a multitude of product choices with various brands, prices, and specifications offered to consumers. This often makes it difficult to determine which mobile phone best suits users' needs. Therefore, a decision support system is needed to assist users in selecting a mobile phone objectively and systematically. This study aims to apply the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to a decision support system for mobile phone selection. The AHP method is used because it can simplify complex problems into a hierarchy and determine the importance weight of each criterion through pairwise comparisons. The criteria used in this study include price, specifications, camera, battery capacity, and brand. The results show that the AHP method can provide the best mobile phone recommendations based on the highest priority values.
