The younger generation today faces challenges in interpreting poetry as a literary work rich in emotion, symbolism, and reflections on life. Poetry learning is often treated merely as an object of structural analysis without engaging students in exploring its affective and reflective dimensions. Consequently, students’ ability to understand the inner values and humanistic messages contained in poetry has declined. This study aims to develop a conceptual framework for the S.H.R.A (Simak, Hayati, Renungkan, Alkisahkan) approach as a deep learning strategy. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis, focusing on contemporary poetry texts, literature on literary learning, previous studies, and literary psychology. Through this analysis, a four-stage conceptual model is formulated: Simak (observing and understanding textual meaning), Hayati (identifying emotions and inner experiences), Renungkan (engaging in moral and life-value reflection), and Alk (re-expressing meaning through creative expression). The results produce a conceptual framework of the S.H.R.A approach that integrates cognitive, affective, and reflective aspects in poetry learning. This approach is relevant for literary education as it fosters sensitivity to meaning, strengthens reflective ability, and revitalizes the learning of contemporary poetry
