Unilateral dismissal of Civil Servants (ASN) is a critical issue in Indonesia's civil service system, as it relates to the legal protection of civil servants' rights. In many cases, ASN are dismissed without due process, lack of sufficient evidence, and without the opportunity for self-defense. This raises significant questions about the authority and role of the State Administrative Court (PTUN) as a judicial institution competent to examine and decide administrative disputes between ASN and government institutions. This paper aims to thoroughly examine the extent of PTUN's authority in adjudicating unilateral dismissal cases of ASN based on legal norms, administrative law doctrines, and relevant judicial practices. The research method used in this article is normative juridical with statutory, conceptual, and case approach analysis.
