Digital transformation in healthcare services encourages the need for innovation in nursing management control systems based on Android applications that can improve efficiency, accuracy, team coordination, and data-based managerial decision-making. The purpose of this study is to produce an innovative model for nursing service management control systems based on Android applications that is practical, efficient, and effective. The research method uses a waterfall research and development (R&D) model with a mixed method approach. Results: Qualitative analysis concluded that the development of an application-based nursing internal control system is needed to improve the quality of nursing services. A non-pharmacological effort to reduce the intensity of this pain is through regular physical activity such as aerobic exercise. Objective: To determine the correlation between aerobic exercise routine and the intensity of menstrual pain (primary dysmenorrhea) in adolescent girls at MTs Putri PUI Majalengka in the Working Area of Munjul Public Health Center in 2026. Method: This quantitative research used a correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The research population was all students of MTs Putri PUI Majalengka with a sample size of 60 adolescent girls taken using the total sampling technique. The research instruments used an exercise characteristic questionnaire and a pain assessment scale. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test to examine the bivariate relationship. Result: More than half, namely 32 respondents (53.3%), did not routinely perform aerobic exercise. Less than half of the respondents, namely 18 people (30.0%), experienced moderate menstrual pain. Bivariate analysis showed that the routine exercise group mostly experienced no pain (46.4%), while the non-routine exercise group mostly experienced moderate pain (50.0%). The statistical test result obtained a p-value of 0.001. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between aerobic exercise routine and the intensity of menstrual pain (primary dysmenorrhea) in adolescent girls at MTs Putri PUI Majalengka in the Working Area of Munjul Public Health Center in 2026 (p < 0.05). Recommendation: Adolescent girls are expected to routinely perform light aerobic exercise independently at home at least 3 times a week to trigger endorphins as the body's natural pain reliever. The school and the public health center are advised to collaborate in optimizing creative physical activity education to reduce dysmenorrhea cases.
Indriyani Fatihatul Ligin, Lina Siti Nuryawati, Ayu Idaningsih Copyright (c) 2026 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/health/article/view/1617 Wed, 02 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000 INDIKATOR PEMULIHAN PADA FASE AWAL PASCA ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT RECONSTRUCTION (ACLR): A SCOPING REVIEW https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/health/article/view/1622
Introduction: Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction (ACLR) is a surgical procedure aimed at restoring knee stability and function; however, successful recovery is heavily influenced by the postoperative rehabilitation process. Active Range of Motion (AROM), knee swelling, and pain intensity are key indicators for assessing patient recovery progress following ACLR. Objective: This scoping review aims to map the indicators used to assess recovery during the early phase following ACLR, including indicator types, measurement methods and instruments, timing of evaluations, and the progression of these indicators during the early recovery phase. Methods: A literature search was conducted across PubMed/MEDLINE, ScienceDirect, and Springer Nature databases, covering the publication period of 2021–2026. Included articles were primary studies involving adult patients post-ACLR that reported at least one of the following outcomes: AROM/ROM, knee swelling or effusion, and pain intensity. Selection was based on the PCC framework and reported using PRISMA-ScR, while data were synthesized descriptively and narratively. Results: The search yielded 3,970 articles; following screening and eligibility assessment, 14 articles met the inclusion criteria. Mapping results indicate that AROM, knee swelling, and pain intensity undergo changes—particularly during the early postoperative phase—with patterns influenced by surgical techniques, analgesia strategies, swelling control measures, and rehabilitation interventions. Certain interventions, such as continuous cryotherapy, complex decongestive therapy, and deep oscillation therapy, demonstrated improvements in two or more outcomes, whereas other interventions yielded inconsistent results. Conclusion: AROM, knee swelling, and pain intensity are important, interrelated indicators of post-ACLR recovery; however, available evidence remains heterogeneous regarding interventions, measurement instruments, and timing of assessments. Therefore, prospective research involving repeated measures is needed to more clearly characterize the recovery trajectory.
I Nyoman Krisna Artha Kusuma, I Ketut Swarjana, Sri Dewi Megayanti, I Gusti Agung Tresna Wicaksana Copyright (c) 0 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/health/article/view/1622 Fri, 02 Oct 2026 00:00:00 +0000 DETERMINAN MOTIVASI PASIEN DALAM MENJALANI PROSEDUR KOSMETIK: A LITERATURE REVIEW https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/health/article/view/1623
Background: The increasing number of cosmetic procedures worldwide indicates that patients’ decisions to undergo aesthetic interventions are influenced by a complex range of factors. Patients’ motivations are not solely related to the desire to improve their appearance but are also influenced by psychological, social, cul-tural, and social media-related factors. Purpose : To analyze and synthesize scientific evidence regarding the determinants of patients’ decisions to undergo cosmetic procedures based on published research. Methods: This study employed a literature review method. A literature search was conducted through the PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Springer Nature databases using combinations of keywords with Boolean oper-ators. Articles were selected according to the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, with inclusion criteria consisting of original research studies published between 2021 and 2026, available in full-text format, and addressing de-terminants of patients’ motivation to undergo cosmetic procedures. A total of 16 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using narrative synthesis. Results: The synthesis indicated that patients’ decisions to undergo cosmetic procedures are influenced by multiple interacting factors, including psychological factors, body image, social media, sociodemographic characteristics, and economic factors. Psychological factors, including self-esteem, appearance anxiety, body appreciation, self-compassion, and objectified body consciousness, emerged as the most dominant determinants. Age, sex, cultural background, and procedure costs also contributed to patients’ decision-making. Conclusion: The decision to undergo cosmetic procedures is a multidimensional phenomenon influenced by the interaction of psychological factors, body image perceptions, social media, individual characteristics, and economic factors. Psychological factors appear to be the most dominant determinants. Therefore, psycho-logical assessment and pre-procedure education should be integral components of the consultation process to support informed decision-making and improve patient satisfaction.
I Kadek Doni Kusmadi, Ni Putu Kamaryati, Anak Agung Ayu Yuliati Darmini, Ni Kadek Sutini Copyright (c) 0 https://ejournal.penerbitjurnal.com/index.php/health/article/view/1623 Fri, 02 Oct 2026 00:00:00 +0000
