Abstract

Performance is the final result of an employee's work in an organization whose output is in accordance with the responsibilities ordered by their superior. Therefore, evaluation of doctors' performance needs to be carried out periodically to ensure quality and sustainable services. Perceived Organizational Support (POS) is a feeling of confidence that employees have regarding how the institution gives appreciation to its workforce and their concern for employee welfare, which can influence the performance of doctors. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between Perceived Organizational Support and the performance of doctors at the Royal Prima Medan General Hospital. This type of research is quantitative research that is analytical in nature. The population in this study were doctors at the Royal Prima Medan General Hospital, totaling 121 doctors. The sampling technique used was the Total Sampling method, so the sample in the study was 121 doctors. The data used in this research is primary with data analysis using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The research results showed that the majority of respondents in this study said that justice support, superior support and welfare support at RSU Royal Prima Medan were good, the majority of doctors' performance at RSU Royal Prima Medan was good. There is a relationship between justice support and the performance of doctors at the Royal Prima Medan General Hospital, P - Value < 0.05. There is a relationship between superior support and the performance of doctors at the Royal Prima Medan General Hospital, P - Value < 0.05. There is a relationship between welfare support and the performance of doctors at the Royal Prima Medan General Hospital, P - Value < 0.05. There is a relationship between justice support, superior support and welfare support on the performance of doctors at the Royal Prima Medan General Hospital P - Value < 0.05. The variable most related to the performance of doctors at RSU Royal Prima Medan is the justice support variable (X1). The conclusion in this research is that there is a relationship between perceived organizational support and the performance of doctors at the Royal Prima Medan general hospital.
