ANALISIS PENGEMBANGAN LAYANAN MEDICAL CHECK UP DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM MITRA SEJATI MEDAN

Abstract

A hospital is an organization that provides services that are unique in their own right because apart from having a social mission, they also have to carry out business functions in order to grow and develop. One of the businesses currently being developed by hospitals is medical check-up (MCU) facilities. In order to increase hospital income, one strategy is to adopt a policy to optimize profit center services, namely by increasing rates and developing medical check-up services into integrated medical check-up services and promoting them. The aim of this research is to analyze the development of medical check-up services at the Mitra Sejati General Hospital in Medan. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. There were 5 (five) informants in the in-depth interviews. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis show that the need for the number and type of facilities, facilities and equipment in the development of medical check-up services at the Mitra Sejati General Hospital in Medan has not been fully met and there are still suggestions and infrastructure that are not in accordance with the SOP and need improvement, the need for the number of human resources in development Medical check-up services at Mitra Sejati Medan General Hospital are still not fulfilled and do not meet the required qualifications, but currently Mitra Sejati Medan General Hospital has started to make efforts to meet the needs of human resources with qualifications that suit needs, in general the financing capacity in implementation The development of medical check-up services at the Mitra Sejati General Hospital in Medan has been fulfilled because funding for the implementation of the development was taken from the financial department of the hospital's annual budget plan which has gone through the planning and evaluation stages at the beginning.
