Abstract

Pharmacy warehouses play an important role in maintaining the safety and quality of medicines before they are distributed to health care facilities. This literature review aims to analyze pharmaceutical warehouse quality assessment methods, identify best practices, and explore related technologies and regulatory compliance. Discussion includes controlling environmental conditions, storage and handling practices, inventory management, and a rigorous quality assurance program. The pharmaceutical warehouse quality evaluation method can be done manually, automatically, or a combination of both. Technology plays an important role in improving the quality of pharmaceutical warehouses, such as environmental monitoring systems, electronic warehouse management, and process automation. The application of automation and robotics is also becoming increasingly popular to increase efficiency and reduce human error. However, technology implementation must be combined with best practices and compliance with relevant regulations to ensure the safety and integrity of pharmaceutical products.
